Author Guidelines
The editors of JLLTE: Journal of Language, Literature, and Teaching welcome authors to submit articles written in English/Bahasa Indonesia/Mandarin in accordance with the following guidelines points 1-10:
- JLLTE accepts articles on English and Mandarin language, literature, and teaching which have not been published or considered for publication elsewhere.
- The articles should be written in English/Bahasa Indonesia/Mandarin in 1,5 line spacing, using Microsoft Word, font size 12, Times New Roman, top and left margin 3 cm, bottom and right margin 2,54 cm, should be between 2,500 and 4,500 words long, printed in A4 paper.
- Articles should be uploaded onto JLLTE website: www.jllte.stbapia.ac.id
- The keywords should be typed below the abstract Each article should be between 2,500 and 4,500 words long and in form of essay written in English which includes:
a. Title should be typed in bold type and in capital each word (except prepositions and conjunctions), and in 12-point size of Times New Roman font.
b. Author’s name (without academic degree) with an e-mail address and institution’s name typed below the author’s name.
c. The abstract under any field of study should be written in English (200-300 words) which includes the objectives, methods, and results.
d. Keywords in English (3-5 words). - The body of the article should consist of:
a. Introduction (without sub-section) should include the objectives, methods, and findings.
b. Method
c. Results (with sections)
d. Discussion
e. Reference list should appear at the end of the article and includes only literatures cited in the manuscripts. References are alphabetically and chronologically ordered. Please use the APA style (the sixth edition) for the reference list. - Levels of Heading:
a. Level one headings are typed centered, bold, uppercase and lowercase heading*
b. Level two headings are typed flush left, bold, uppercase and lowercase heading
c. Level three headings are typed indented, bold, lowercase paragraph heading ending with a period.
d. Level four headings are typed indented, bold, italicized, lowercase paragraph heading ending with a period.
*the first letter of the first word is uppercase and the remaining words are lowercase. - Use only horizontal lines when using tables. Put table number and the title of the table on top of it.
- Notifications of the receipt of manuscripts and editorial decisions (whether the articles are accepted or not) by e-mail.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
